Good Morning to Everyone!!    Why I wait til Sunday morning to do laundry is beyond me, I guess because I hate doing it.  Wanted to pop in and see who was up and at it this morning.  Good Morning Colena!! Congrats on the new place!!!!

Hi everyone!!!!!!!!! I hope all of the wonderful sistah's are having a good start to the new year.

We went and signed the lease to the apartment yesterday and we can move in on the 11th!!!!!!!!! I am so glad things are starting to look up. They also have digital cable and are giving us a box so we can use it too!!!!!! So even though i cant watch DC when it debuts i can watch the repeats on my days and nites off!!!!!!!!!!! And i also can watch ghosthunters and Bill Maher too!!!!!!!!!! Thank you all for the support!!! Whenever i start thinking negatively i catch myself and start thinking positive!!!!!!!!! It's a challenge but so far so good!!!!!!! 

Dana - I really hope Dylan is ok and that he doesnt have any more seizures!!!!! I cant imagine the fear that you have. We all are here for you though!!!!!! I love ya!!!!!!

Mama C - I dont know if you have access to a pc right now but when you do know that i miss ya and love ya!!!!!!!

Cindy - I'm  going through nothing compared to what you are girl!!!!!!!! I know what you mean about being shy. When the captains came to Baltimore i was too scared to go and plus i was sick lol!!!!! I'm such a hermit!!!!!!

Beth - Good to see you posting!!! I hope your parents are ok and hope that you have some downtime soon!!!!!!!!!!

And i also want to express my condolences to the families of the six people who died in a plane crash on Kodiak Island. I think it happened there.

OK!  LET ME TRY THIS AGAIN!!  LOL!!!  HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!!!!  I HOPE EVERYONE IS SAFE AND SOUND!!!  We have had a hard week here.  As I told everyone, Dylan had a seizure last Wednesday.  Well...at 8:30 pm last night, Dylan had the worst seizure I have ever seen him have!!!!!!!!!!!  Dylan has had a lot of seizures but nothing this violent.  It was so bad that he was barely breathing, foaming at the mouth, wet himself, and every limb on his body was as tight as could be.  We had to call 911 and have an ambulance come to the house to get him and transport him to the hospital.  His eyes were dialated and he was extremely incoherent after the seizure.  They did a CT scan on his head because he fell straight back and hit his head pretty hard.  Everything checked out okay and they went ahead and sent him home.  He is asleep in my bed with my husband right now and I am staying awake keeping an eye on him.  There will be no sleep for me tonight! Anyway, if everyone could keep him in their prayers I would greatly appreciate it!  We are going to go see his neurologist and regular doctor tomorrow..I mean today! lol!!!  I will let everyone know what we find out!  Oh, and before I forget...I will be downloading new pics in the next couple of days.  I finally got a new camera with the USB cable!  I bet I don't lose that again!!!  LOL!!!  Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day!  I love ya'll.

Colena- What accent?  I don't have an accent!  LOL!!!  People usually think I am from Georgia or Alabama because I have such a heavy southern accent, but I am from Texas!  I loved talking to ya!  I will talk with ya soon!

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!!!!

Just like a bad penny.......I'm Back!!!!  I have missed all of you SO very much!  I tried to get caught up on the postings, but Holy Cow!! So many new ones and SO many new Names!!!  Hello to Everyone!! Welcome!!! 

I have finally finished clean out my grandparents home and getting it ready so Corey (my son) and I could move in!!  I had a friend bring over a 40 yard dumpster and we filled it to the brim.  I would have never imagined there was that much stuff in this house.  I sent 6 large Uhaul boxes of clothes to my grandparents church headquarters to be distributed where they could be used best, that was strange. Half of them still had tags on them.  My grandmother is not accepting the nursing home very well, she is still swinging at the nurses and not wanting them to touch her. They tell us that is normal and they are use to it, but it still breaks my heart to see her there.  My grandfather is settling in at my parents home and trying his best to take over. Good thing my parents are patient people. 

Corey is doing Great at homeschooling. He is a few weeks away from finishing 8th grade and has a B average. I am so proud of him!  In public school he had a D average and he LIKES school!!!!

Well, now enough of that.  Did anyone hear about Johnathan falling off the ship?    I read the blog on Discovery that he fell between the ship and the dock as he was boarding to go out for King crab season.  The crew had to fish him out of the water and he was not harmed thankfully!!    Well, maybe his pride had a dent or 2.  I am wondering if they filmed it and will show it on the new season. Also, John's son, Scott, will be a new memeber of the crew this season. I really can't wait!!!  I watched the marathon last weekend and ate some crab I ordered from Bering Sea Bad Boys and got the fever back!!

Phil on the show!   What will they be cooking?  Hopefully they’ll cook up some of the “Deadliest Catch” that Capt. Phil brings out on stage with him!  Tune in, it’s next Friday!

Hey Ladies!  I hope everyone is doing well!  I miss you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!  What all is new?  I finally got registered for the Spring semester at Southeastern!!!  Woo Hoo!!!!!  I am finally going to get to finish my degree!  If all goes well I will be graduating in a year and a half.  I thinks all my sistahs should come to my graudation, captainnap the captains on the way and we can have one huge party!!!!!!  Now that is the way to graduate!!!  LOL!!!  The only down side is after I graduate, I then have three years of law school!  But hey...that means another graduation which means another captainnaping and party!  Maybe there is an upside to going to school another three years!  LOL!!!  Well, not much else is going one here!  I want to wish everyone.....MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!  I LOVE ALL MY SISTAHS!  I am soooo grateful that I have gotten to know all of you and I want you all to know that you have become such a special part of my life and I do love each and everyone of you!  I could not have made it through this difficult year without the support, love, and laughter of such wonderful friends and I cherish each friendship more than you know!  I look forward to many, many more years of drooling over the captains and being friends with all of you!  Thank you all for just being you!  Take care and talk with ya'll soon!  BIG HUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey everyone!!!!!!!!!! I hope yall are having a good holiday so far!!!!!!!!!!!

Oly - Congrats on the job!!!! Where do you work?

Elf - I made it through the first week!!!!!!! Im on i think about a month now!!!!!! I used a pallet jack for the first time to take apparell stock to the garden center cause there is no room in receiving for it. When it rains everything gets wet!!!!! Some of the guys there are rude. I have a friend there who is Muslim and they make jokes and stuff. If i ever hear it im gon na say something to the managers. She is such a sweet girl. She tried to find us an apartment and is teaching me some Arabic as well. We have a apartment but we cant move in till its finished which should be about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks from now. Its 700 a month plus 1/3 utilities which is cutting it close but we wont have to worry bout storage bill cause we will have nothing in it lol!!!!!! I am going to tkae a part time job just to make sure we have a lil bit of extra money for us. Elf i am still working on a gaelic message for you. Its hard cause when im notg workin im sleepin lol!!!!!! I am going to take out my yoga dvd when we move in so i can improve circulation in my body  cause my feet are killin me!!!!!!! I sprained one of them and stopped taking ibuprofen cause it wasent workin so my brother is lettin me use his extrastrentgh tylenol which works wonders lol!!!!!!! Hopefully i will have it to you soon. For the most part i like workin there. It's nice to make my own money for once!!!!!!!!!! I hope all of you ladies are doing great!!!!!! It's been a ghost town here. Holidays are very busy!!!!!! I dont have to work Christmas nite cause its my regular nite off!!!!!!! My brother is going to be sooooooooo happy when we move into the apartment. I just wish he would stop callin us names and stuff cause we are really trying and things are straightening themselves out now. I just keep prayin!!!!!!!!!! This poem was written by a Marine stationed in
Okinawa Japan.

My husband and I had been happily (most of the time) married for five years but hadn't been blessed with a baby. I decided to do some serious praying and promised God that if he would give us a child, I would be a perfect mother, love it with all my heart and raise it with his word as my guide.

God answered my prayers and blessed us with a son. The next year God blessed us with another son. The following year, he blessed us with yet another son. The year after that we were blessed with a daughter.

My husband thought we'd been blessed right into poverty. We now had four children, and the oldest was only four years old. I learned never to ask God for anything unless I meant it. As a minister once told me, "If you pray for rain, make sure you carry an umbrella."

I began reading a few verses of the Bible to the children each day as they lay in their cribs. I was off to a good start. God had entrusted me with four children and I didn't want to disappoint him.

I tried to be patient the day the children smashed two dozen eggs on the kitchen floor searching for baby chicks.

I tried to be understanding when they started a hotel for homeless frogs in the spare bedroom, although it took me nearly two hours to catch all twenty-three frogs.

When my daughter poured ketchup all over herself and rolled up in a blanket to see how it felt to be a hot dog, I tried to see the humor rather than the mess. In spite of changing over twenty-five
thousand diapers, never eating a hot meal and never sleeping for more than thirty minutes at a time, I still thank God daily for my children.

While I couldn't keep my promise to be a perfect mother - I didn't even come close - I did keep my promise to raise them in the Word of God. I knew I was missing the mark just a little when I told my were going to church to worship God, and she wanted to bring a bar of soap along to "wash up" Jesus, too.

Something was lost in the translation when I explained that God gave us everlasting life, and my son thought it was generous of God to give us his "last wife."

My proudest moment came during the children's Christmas pageant. My daughter was playing Mary, two of my sons were shepherds and my youngest son was a wise man. This was their moment to shine.

My five-year-old shepherd had practiced his line, "We found the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes." But he was nervous and said, "The baby was wrapped in wrinkled clothes."! My four-year-old "Mary" said, "That's not 'wrinkled clothes,' silly. That's dirty, rotten clothes."
A wrestling match broke out between Mary and the shepherd and was stopped by an angel, who bent her halo and lost her left wing. I slouched a little lower in my seat when Mary dropped the doll
representing Baby Jesus, and it bounced down the aisle crying, "Mama-mama." Mary grabbed the doll ,wrapped it back up and held tightly as the wise men arrived.

My other son stepped forward wearing a bathrobe and a paper crown, knelt at the manger and announced, "We are the three wise guys, and we are bringing gifts of gold, common sense and fur."

The congregation dissolved into laughter, and the pageant got a standing ovation.. "I've never enjoyed a Christmas program as much as this one," laughed the pastor, wiping tears from his eyes. "For the rest of my life, I'll never hear the Christmas story without thinking of gold, common sense and fur."
"My children are my pride and my joy and my greatest blessing," I said as I dug through my purse for an aspirin.

Jesus had no servants, yet they called Him Master.
Had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher.
Had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer.
Had no army, yet kings feared Him.
He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world.
He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him.
He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today.
Feel honored to serve such a Leader who loves us.
