Well, Bubbs, after reading your post I had tears in my eyes! WOW! I never knew I had all that power and it's so wonderful to know it!
Yes, I have to agree, we had a really nice time on Saturday! I could tell right away when they came walking down the path because Bubbs had coffee in hand! Yumm! Raspberry Chocolate ! Tabs got to make a few tree ornaments, got to ride the ponies and then went out on the hayride to see Santa. Bubb's daughter is the sweetest angel on earth! She is such a cutie and she stole my heart! I would hang around the barn with her any day!
And Bubbs! You are an amazing mom! I'm so glad we finally got together that day! I'm sure there will be more days!
No snow day today - oh well....

i had the pleasure of meeting our dc sistah kate this weekend at her stable for the xmas carnival, tab had a blast riding the miniature ponies and feeding ulysses cookies and taking the hay ride to see santa, but most of all we thoroughly enjoyed you kate!! you guys just have to see it to believe it. when kate talks to her horses or just looks at them, the love in her heart for these babies is so strong that the bond between them is almost visible, so much so that it seems that you could just reach out and touch it. you are an amazing person kate! and tab just thinks you are the cats meow or should i say horses nay? lol. thank you for such a wonderful afternoon!. you are truly a beacon of light!.
yes yes yes i did get pics i will probably be posting them tonite as it seems that is the only day/night i will have time to breath this week!

Hi all just wanted to say thanks for all the well wishes and prayers must of worked as i am still here. god whenever i get feeling sorry for myself i just read colenes post then i fell very blessed with my life. Gayle and one of the brians came over to visit me and brought me the kindest little dog. her name is missy of course she came with a designer jacket courtesy of gayle. and brian omg what can i say the nicest good looking attentive to gayle kind of guy..and while we are on the subject could gayle and marie osmond look any more alike??? Talked to phil yesterday and he sends his wishes still is fishing and still has his sense of humour..he is such a dork he had me laughing most of the day. talked to claudia in the midst of her ten hour drive to dads she too is hysterical. it snowed here in spokane and suppose to get more tonight. my friend jodie from back east and vickie from ohio recently moved over to the coast actually right around the corner from phil and gets her coffee at the same place so bound to run into him (i haven't told her any of this yet) so that will be fun for deb when it happens as she is a dork too and will probably just drop her coffee right on the spot..anyway they came to see me for the weekend and we had a slumber party yes i do think we discussed all of you guys a bit were your ears ringing? just cuz i am too lazy to post don't mean i don't read and yes i report....so ha ha.. anyway have a great holiday season and colene write to me on my e-mail .. hey all, hope all of you had a wonderful thanksgiving!! i unfortunately had to go to my inlaws and oh well lets just say at least the turkey was good.
lol! kate i know can ya believe we had snow! well it wasnt too bad here in parsippany we just had slushy stuff but up towards sussex county they had about 6 inches. the desert was sounding pretty good right about then!
i have a funny story for you guys, lol. we are such idiots! hubby and i are usually running around like crazy and well we had gotten the invitation for his high school reunion, and we marked the day and sent our money. so last night i got my sister to watch tab, drove all the way up there (its a 45 min drive). i spent the afternoon getting my nails done, ironing our clothes to wear. we got there, there were no cars in the parking lot. we started to laugh thinking no one else came to the reunion. then we realized the banquet hall was dark inside, we thought uhoh. i called my sis to get online and see if the place was moved or something, she couldnt get her puter on, so i called one of my other friends who got online but couldnt find anything! i had asked hubby if we should bring the invitation before we left the house and he said "no i know everyone, there wont be a problem". finally i decided to head back to our house to get the invitation, on the way my sis called and said "ummm its tomorrow night!" lmao we are such doofuses!
so now we have to go there tonite, but today we are doing a t-giving dinner with the preschool moms/dads from last year, all i keep thinking is uggg too much food!!
ok gotta run, i didnt get to do a pedicure yesterday so at least at tonites reunion my toes look good!. lol

Hi ladies!!!!! Yesterday was a really eventful day!!! lol!!!!!! We had to go to storage to find the receipt from the deposit my mother made on the phone cause they told us there was no deposit!!!! We found it and we are going to get that $1000 darnnit!!!!!!! lol!!!!! Walmart called and we have an orientation tomorrow mornin so i guess they will tell us when we get there when we can start work!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!! Its gettin cold here finally i had to take out the heavy coat!!!!
Mabey we should put out an amber alert for the missing sistahs!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!! Or mabey they are just hiding in one of the boats in the bering sea lol!!!!!! Or we could always check the rehabs in their areas , mabey their withdrawl symptoms got too bad!!!!!!!!!! lol!!!!!!!! I went onto Discovery's site and it turns out Capt. Johnathan fell into the water while he was boarding the boat!!!! LOL!!!!!!! His son is also on the Time Bandit too!!!!!!!! Why doesnt Discovery film tendering season so we wont have to wait so long in between seasons for them to air the shows? I need a fix and i dont have dvds right now!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!

COLENA: I hope Walmart calls soon. I imagine the holiday season they MUST need help/ I had the same problem with my bite. Plus I was missing one tooth next to my front one and the matching one on the other side didn't form right. So I had to have by braces on over a year to get the space open. Have a dental implant surgery. I get my implant tooth and veneer for the mis-formed tooth Dec 19th. I had my braces on for over two years and will have to wear a retainer for another year. It only hurts when they do adjustments and then for only a day or so. BUT TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!! I hope you can get good dental insurance with your new job, I have never regretted it.
Well if anyone is into college football, my poor Ducks blew it in Arizona....

ok time to sign off i have to go fight the classroom mom wars tomorrow, ya wanna hear pathetic? i was named head class mom because no one else would do it, there is this other mom who doesnt want the responisibility but thinks she should still say what goes on. well at the halloween party, she kept asking if her hubby could come and help, i told her "aww thanks for asking but we have enough volunteers" well she called the teacher and asked her if he could come, so the teacher called me when i explained that id already told her no, the teacher said "well then ill tell her no". when all the parents met at the school there was mr. paininthepetutie, i said wait where is mrs. L? they said ohhh she cant make it. well the next day i saw mrs. L who informed me that mr.&mrs. paininthepetutie, took her juice and water for the party and then told her that her help wasnt needed. that was annoying in itself but after being in the classroom for 5 mins. mr. paininthepetutie decided he was going to leave. which left me shorthanded. now mrs.paininthepetutie is trying to push her way in for the holiday party, i have to tell her no because 4 other parents want to help this time, i expect a hissy fit in the parking lot at school, lmao. ill let ya know if i had to kick her arse. Arent there more important things in life?

Been a crazy fall season. I just got my house all decorated for Christmas. Work is same old, same old stuff, except my boss is pregnant again and freaking out about it. Hey y'all
Wow it has been a long time since I have been here. Life has been hectic...but I am surviving. Football season has kept me busy with maintaining all of the band uniforms. Between the games and the competitions there are always a few uniforms that need mending and re-hemming several times a week. My daughter just turned 18 and getting ready for the SAT. We have both been busy getting scholarship and grant applications done...I find them she writes the essays. Just some advice...don't wait until your child's senior year in high school to start on scholarships...many of them can be applied for in middle school. There are a lot of scholarships out there...you just have to look for them. I have been up to my eyeballs in the planning of the car show and collecting sponsors and donations. (so does anyone want to donate anything...or maybe bring your bikes down here and enter them into the show....you could win a really cool trophy. hehehe) I have been busy trying to find assistance for my patient because when she turns 21 in July she will lose all of her current nursing care...dealing with all of these government waiver programs takes a lot of time and paperwork. At least Dustin isn't giving me any extra trouble (as long as I remember to give him his meds)....And I am still working 40-50 hours a week even though I hurt my back and I am on light duty...still have to do mos of my job...Then if I don't have enough on my plate...a dear friend just became the executive director of the the Down;s foundation here and asked if I could help her out with research and other projects...I said ...yes. I have been in a meeting almost every evening for a couple of months...when i finally went to turn on my TV for the first time in a couple of months...it didn't work...a mouse chewed thru the cord. Oh well I don't need TV yet.
I am sorry I have been so lax on the cheat sheet. I am updating it this evening and will catch up on the confirmation calls this week. (I hope...I only have 2 meetings this week and no football game.) Please forgive me...I have been so bad for not getting it updated and the confirmation calls done.
I have missed all of you guys so much. I can't wait for Claudia to get the archives up so I can catch up on everything and meet all of the new people here. I am gonna try and make to chat one of these days.
Well gotta get back to work before I get in trouble.

Morning Everyone!
Hope you all had a great week and a fun Halloween! My 12 year old son is still having fun going trick or treating with his friends. He went this year as an ostrich wrangler! You know, one of those blow-up costumes that you step into - it was hysterically funny! Topped off with my cowboy hat and a plaid shirt, he looked great! I'll miss it when he decides he's too OLD to go out anymore. And oh yea, I'll miss the Junior Mints too! Haa Haa!
Waiting on the vet this morning. Have to go over to the barn in a bit to have 2 retired horses checked out today. Poor guys. Lame and lamer.. Hope they are OK. Just hope the wind they are predicting for today holds off until we're done! Nothing like holding on to a 1000lb puppy in the wind - makes for some interesting acrobatics!
Our work contract in AK is up and running. My boss and my coworker came back yesterday. They said the scenery was nothing short of amazing with the water and the mountains in the background. They confirmed that yes it really is the wild wild west out there, but the people are phenomenal -so helpful and friendly. Moose using the road to get where they want to go LOL! , brown bear claw marks near the site they were working at. And yes, about 6 inches of snow the first day out! There was a fun little bush flight too from Anchorage to their work site that made them sit up and pay attention - flying with 38mph winds in a small plane - oh yea, just what I look forward to...gulp..I volunteered to go next year to dismantle the site when the contract ends. What was I thinking??

beth, claudia omg i havent seen those names in a while then again ive been running around like a moron as usual! 2 jobs and a 5 no make that 6 yro and a hubby is not always fun! well the jobs and the 6 yr old are, lmao j/k.
finally sold a house and was able to go buy clothes that actually fit! im down 60lbs woohoo, aside from underwear that sag im ok though, lmao! then again the undies arent the only thing starting to sag i was warned about this but it is still getting to me my skin is loose! i went and got a massage to try and help tighten it up a lil jeez something has to help, i now have a fear of standing in front of a fan hearing my skin flap in the breeze.
i was miffed last friday, i managed to stay awake and wham the lights went out so i got to sit in the dark with all my candles no tv, no computer...no chat!!! i was fit to be tied!

claudia dagnabit i wish we lived closer, tab is always looking for someone to play with and well with our neighbors here i feel like i live at the freak show, one kid tries to hit her with a plastic bat or touch her legs and hiney, (dont worry i think he got the message when i told him i was going to cut his dirty lil hands off if he touched her again) needless to say he's not allowed to play with her and when i try to talk to his mother its kind of hard cuz shes not exactly nice (she gives you the up/down look when ya wave) and well i cant see her face because its wrapped in a sari, so im uncomfortable, another calls her names that i have to explain to her and bites her as well, there are no lil girls here so im constantly making play dates between jobs.
well it seems that summer is finally gone we closed the pool and the leaves have all changed, but i still got my hot tub, so im not at a total loss. though it is a lil chilly when you get out. we had a lot of fun with halloween and did our annual 5 mile walk. it was the first time i tried pizza since surgery ummm i wont be doing that again, now i know what they mean by "it wont go down" it felt like it took 3 hrs for it to get through my stomach and it hurt like hell! uh buh bye pizza! you wont be missed!
